Just In: Court denies Sowore’s bail application

The Federal High Court sitting in buja has denied Omoleye Sowore’s bail application.

Justice Ojukwu said Sowore’s bail can only be reduced to N50 million while Bakare’s should be reduced to N20 million.

The judge expressed disbelief and found it difficult to believe a man of Sowore’s pedigree does not have anyone to deposit N50 million.

The case has been adjourned to November 6th and 7th respectively.

His lawyer had applied for bail variation which was considered too stringent.

Sowore was arrested few months ago on accusation of cyber stalking, abuses, causing public nuisance and organising a revolution to dispose a legitimate government.
