As cases of coronavirus soar amid frantic efforts to control the virus in Europe, Christiano Ronaldo, the Juventus and Portugal ace has extended the frontiers of his humanity by transforming his hotels to hospitals to contain the virus.

Everyone would be treated free and medical workers best anywhere in the world are being taken in and all costs would be paid for by the five-time world’s footballer of the year.

The hotels he owns are in Portugal and are regarded as some of the best in the world.

Both the Juventus website and Marca newspaper in Spain have reported that the Portugal striker will convert his hotels into medical centres to help those suffering from the outbreak of the virus.

Spanish daily Marca said the former Real Madrid hero will use convert CR7 brand of hotels into makeshift ‘hospitals’ to help against the global pandemic.

The facilities will be free of charge and Ronaldo will foot the bill for doctors and staff.

Over the weekend, Ronaldo expressed concerns over the spread of coronavirus and urged people to follow the directives of the World Health Organisation (WHO).

“The world is going through a very difficult moment which demands the utmost care and attention from all of us. I speak to you today not as a football player, but as a son, father, a human being concerned with the latest developments that is affecting the whole world,” Ronaldo tweeted.
