COVID-19 lock down violation: Naira Marley surrenders to Police, to be arraigned in Court
Controversial Nigerian Singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has turned himself in at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, Lagos State.
The State Police Command Spokesperson, Bala Elkana, who confirmed this, said the singer arrived Panti on Monday afternoon April 6, and has been interrogated.
He will also be charged to court for violating the restriction orders.
The police say the command has launched a manhunt for the remaining persons who attended the party organized by Funke Akindele and her Husband over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Funke Akindele and Abdulrasheed Bello, aka JJC Skillz, have both pleaded guilty to the one count charge leveled against them and they have been sentenced to a 14-day community service as well as payment of a N100,000 fine.
The singer has been having running with the police and other security agencies and this time sources say he may finally be brought down to earth.
His sentencing might be harsh as compared to Akindele and husband.
